Virtus.pro are the winners of the Crown's Counter-Strike Invitational after seeing off Immunity by a 2-0 scoreline (19-17 on de_overpass and 16-3 on de_mirage). Virtus.pro came out of the gate looking really sharp, picking up the pistol round thanks to a triple kill from Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski, the two anti-eco rounds and the first three gun rounds to storm to a 6-0 lead. The Polish team were then caught off-guard by a Tec9 rush from Immunity, with Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland taking down an overextending Filip "NEO" Kubski to pick up his weapon before getting two more frags to his name. Immunity continued to pick up round after round and eventually brought the scoreline to 5-6. Virtus.pro then got back on their feet and strung a series of rounds together to close out the half with a 9-6 lead.
In the second half, Immunity picked up the opening three rounds to restore parity at 9-9. The next few rounds were extremely high contested as neither side could stamp their authority on the game, but then Virtus.pro regained control of the proceedings and took a 14-11 lead, putting Immunity in danger of getting blown out. However, the home side crawled back into the game and forced overtime, where they would come up short against the Poles. Next up was de_mirage, a map both teams are known to be very strong on. However, it was simply a one-way street from start to finish as Virtus.pro cruised to an impressive 16-3 victory after picking up a whopping 13 rounds on the CT side.
